We Are Melrose: Envisioning The Commons (WAM-ETC) is a hybrid analog photography exhibition combined with an interactive multimedia showcase that utilizes the photographs of three Bronx-based photojournalists and documentary photographers—Edwin Pagán, Michael Young, and María del la Paz Galindo, and renown urban planner/architect Petr Stand—to elevate the historical narrative of the Melrose Commons section of the South Bronx and its people.
This ground-breaking interactive and multi-sensory showcase is a project of We Stay/Nos Quedamos, Inc., in partnership with Boricua College, with funding by the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA).
